Bolton are not allowed to have a good, healthy right back. Sam Ricketts, Tyrone Mears, and Dedryck Boyata are all out injured and youngster Joe Riley has done well to retain a starting place in the squad for the last two matches but the next match is now in doubt as it appears that Riley has injured his hamstring. There is no official news yet, just what we've seen from Reserves goalkeeper Jay Lynch's twitter. Hit the jump to see what's what.
It appears that the football gods are determined to give Gretar Steinsson a starting spot and they're doing it in mobster fashion by making sure that anyone standing in his way gets hurt.
By the sound of it, Riley has picked up a knock in training. Hopefully the injury isn't too serious and will lead to a quick recovery. As soon as we have official word from the club or another report detailing the amount of time he's out for, we'll update.
