Arsenal v. Bolton Wanderers

Arsenal are fourth from the bottom of the table while Bolton sit two places below them in the relegation zone. Both teams aren't doing particularly well with just one win each in the league. The back lines are in shambles and the strikers aren't scoring. The round's match-up at the Emirates in London will either be a fantastic match to watch or an absolute bore. We all remember the last time the two teams but in case you don't, last season's highlights as well as a full match preview for the weekend follow after the jump.

We don't have Daniel Sturridge and Tamir Cohen anymore to score our goals but luckily Arsenal still has problems with their defense and Bolton Wanderers still tend to do well on corners that the Gunners can't defend thanks to our aerial advantage.

The Cahill to Arsenal saga seemed to go on and on and on and then on some more before Arsene Wenger finally decided to get the services of Per Mertesacker (who hasn't done much) and leave Gary Cahill at the front door of the dance. The Norwich City and Manchester United matches weren't Gary Cahill's best but he certainly turned it around against Aston Villa in the Carling Cup in order to take control the back.

Arsenal's attacking men have yet to hit their usual scoring prowess this season as there are five of them in the "leading scorer" column with a goal each. Bolton, on the other hand have Ivan Klasnic leading the line with three goals and four men behind him sharing a goal each.

Owen Coyle handed Stuart Holden the start at Aston Villa but he is unlikely to be given the nod as Coyle is cautious about rushing back to playing. As for Arsenal: Yossi Benayoun and Johan Djourou are expected to miss out after picking up minor injuries midweek.

Before we leave you, a couple of stats for you lot:

- This is Arsenal's worst start since 1953-1954.

- Bolton have lost 9 of the last 10 meetings between the two sides.

- In the two meetings last season, Bolton scored 3 goals, all of which came from headers.

Oh, and one more thing. If you want a bit more preview, we've answered some questions for The Short Fuse including "who would play Arsene Wenger in a movie?"
