A young manger that's done extremely well in both of his preview jobs. That's the short description for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the former Manchester United great that's won the admiration of a lot of Bolton fans.

News has just emerged that Solskjaer, who was scheduled to speak at the Leaders In Football conference currently taking place in London, has pulled out. This has led to further speculation on his future as he is widely regarded as the favorite in betting circles, among Bolton fans, and with rumors out of the club.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer retired from playing professional football in 2007. When he signed his final contract for Manchester United in 2006, it included a provision to help the striking great break into the coaching scene. From 2008 to 2011, Solskjaer managed the Manchester United reserves and led the Red Devils' reserves to their first Lancashire Senior Cup and the Manchester Senior Cup. The latter victory came against Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok with a lineup that featured the likes of Danny Welbeck and Kiko Macheda. Manchester United won that one by a score of 1-0 thanks to a deflected free kick that wrong-footed Adam Bogdan.

At Molde, Solskjaer has led his new team to success that they have never experienced before. At the end of their 2011 season, Molde finished top of the league for the first time in the club's history (having come only second before that, on seven occasions). This season, Molde once again lead the table but only by a two point margin and had made it through three rounds of Champions League qualifying play before going out to FC Basel on aggregate.

Bolton are looking to go to a much leaner spending architecture in hopes of curbing the club's massive debt. As a result, Bolton Wanderers will look to promote players from the academy and utilize the ones that they already have on the books. This also could mean that Bolton will look to keep the assistant managers internal, likely promoting the likes of Sammy Lee and Jimmy Phillips and would mean that Solskjaer, or whoever the next manager is, may not be able to bring over much of their staff.
