Jimmy Phillips' boys once again fought back from a losing position after the halftime break in order to secure the team's fourth point in two matches. It was a thunderous volley into the top corner from Mark Davies that rescued the point for Phillips and the men in white. Benik Afobe had originally put Bolton Wanderers in front with a close-range finish from a Martin Petrov corner. Kevin Doyle scored a first half brace to put Bolton down a goal.
