Fate is not always kind to us Bolton fans. We've suffered a number of hard defeats this season, in the blight that was Gary Megson's reign. With a new manager in place and a clean sheet under our belts, things seemed to be looking up, but then our best defender, and probably our highest quality player gets a blood clot in his arm. We're told he'll be out for the rest of the season.
But now, lo and behold, Cahill has progressed much faster than expected. He's started training, and there's an outside chance he could put in an appearance on Saturday, in what is sure to be a difficult fixture. This means that accident waiting to happen that goes by the name of Paul Robinson will no longer be needed, and with an increasingly good defensive record without Cahill, I can't wait to see what we can do with him. This is so brilliant I can't even put into words how happy I am. Turning point? Maybe so.
