Tope Obadeyi has been sent out on loan by Bolton Wanderers to League One side Chesterfield in order to gain some first team experience. The big, 22 year old forward showed a lot of promise in the Wanderers academy since joining BWFC back in 2006. He hasn't made anywhere near a dent in breaking into the first team with just three appearances since 2008 and no goals scored.
The loan is a short term deal that goes only until Boxing Day (December 26 for those unaware) and Tope could feature as early as tomorrow (Wednesday) night as Chesterfield take on Tranmere in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Obadeyi has already spent time on loan at Swindown Town, Rochdale, and Shrewbury Town in the past, scoring only three goals in 32 appearances.
We'll do our best to keep you updated on how Tope does away from the Reebok.
