Boyata Back To City In January

Just never looked like he could be bothered, could he?
Just never looked like he could be bothered, could he?

The Mirror (not exactly the best source of news, let it be known) is reporting that Bolton Wanderers will look to end Dedryck Boyata's loan from Manchester City in January. The central defender turned makeshift right back had signed on for a year long stint at the Reebok but hasn't shown anything to make his likely high wage worth paying. His performances have ranged anywhere from poor to average and his attitude is even worse.

Photos right from the start made it clear that he did not want to play for Bolton and never once looked happy doing so. Gael Kakuta, who also never proved that he deserved to be in the side will also likely be on his way back to Chelsea. Apart from his performance against Aston Villa in the Carling Cup, Kakuta never looked like breaking into the starting lineup or even featuring as a substitute more than rarely.

With these two players' wages off of the books, Bolton will be able to bring in some different talent on loan in the January transfer window as the fight to stay up continues.
