Super Stu isn't too near to a return on the pitch yet, where we so desperately need him, but he's arrived back in England this morning after a fresh rehabilitation stint in Texas and Delaware on his way to a playing return. Stuart Holden is back with the Bolton squad ahead of tomorrow's vital clash at Blackburn Rovers and his presence alone
could be enough to rally the squad to a performance.
David Simpson and Juliette Ferrington, the latter a reporter for BBC Northern Football reported earlier on the Twitter that not only do Bolton not have any fresh injuries ahead of the match, but he also had some great quotes from Owen Coyle regarding Stu's return:
"He [Holden] bounced in this morning and came to see me. He's a terrific lad and there's no doubt he has been missed.
"Stuart's an infectious character and we love having him here. I'm sure having Stuart around will give everybody a boost."
"There's no doubt he has been sadly missed. The sooner we have [Holden] back the better it is for all concerned."
Any little boost will help the team and I'm thinking that maybe the team would do well to hire a clown to do party tricks and balloon animals in the dressing room. On second thought, a balloon might pop and cause an injury.
Anyway, here's a couple photos of Stu being back and adorable:
