Man of the Match: Jussi Jaaskelainen

As if there was even any question about who we would select as our Bolton Wanderers man of the match. Jussi Jaaskelainen simply kept Bolton in it when no one else even cared. Sure, some of his saves were elementary and were ones that every keeper should make but he made them and he made them strong. Many keepers would have given up 5 or 6 against Spurs with only 10 men on the field and half the shakiness of the Bolton defense. Jussi's stops were textbook, getting the ball out of the danger zone and making himself big enough to keep breakaways from Jermain Defoe, Gareth Bale, Benoit Assou-Ekotto, and Emmanuel Adebayor out.

The big Finn made sure that Bolton stood a chance and even though it never looked good for Bolton against Spurs, it was a shining performance from him. Do you agree? Disagree?
