Fireside Chats: What They Said About Bolton Wanderers 2-1 Swansea City

Bolton played well against Swansea City. The team started off strong, went a goal down, and rallied for the win. Even Darren Pratley played well and I can honestly say that is the first time anyone has said that this season. After the match always come the quotes:

"We then showed our determination and courage to go up the other end and get ourselves straight back into the game with a goal just before half time.

"In the second half we set about going out there and taking the game to Swansea in order to get the right result. The speed and movement of the players was incisive and we always looked a threat going forward."

Youngster Joe Riley had this to say about our opponents in orange:

"Swansea have a style of playing which is really hard to defend against. Their players are good on the ball and there is a lot of movement.

"They made ten changes but whoever they were going to bring in would be quality players. All we can do, though, is beat what is put in front of us.

"We've come from going a goal behind on a couple of times recently and that all bodes well for us. It gives you that belief that you can win games and we are not letting our heads drop when we lose a goal."

And finally, Swansea Manager Brendan Rodgers speaking about his goalkeeper, Gerhard Tremmel and the second Bolton goal:

"It's very, very difficult when you're a keeper when you're not playing consistently.

"He's great support for Michel [Vorm], who's arguably the top goalkeeper in the league.

"There is certainly no blame attached, but we could have prevented their move for the second goal."
