Jay Spearing Equalizes For Bolton

Was that O Fenomeno in the Bristol City box? Wrong, better. Super Kevin Davies was part of a lovely bit of play that led to Bolton Wanderers' second goal and the equalizer against Bristol City. Super Kev proved his worth once again for Bolton thanks to wonderful hold up play in order to create time and space for the onrushing Liverpool loanee, Jay Spearing. The young midfielder finished well and low for his first Bolton Wanderers goal.

The second half was all Bolton Wanderers to this point with spurts of Bristol City breaking forward towards Bolton's goal. Bolton created chances through Mark Davies, Benik Afobe, Matt Mills, and Kevin Davies. Bolton also managed to maintain their frankly ridiculous possession rate which is now at 65%. These have arguably been the best 20 minutes that Bolton Wanderers have had this season. Bolton are still in control and are pushing for the winner.
