In the excitement of Bolton's first match without Coyle, which ended up being an incredibly satisfying win against Bristol City, we completely forgot to tell you some of the greatest news to come out of the weekend. We knew that Stuart Holden was nearing the end of his rehabilitation in Delaware, and that his due date back at the Reebok was in late October, and thankfully he appears to have made it. Before the match, Bolton's official Twitter sent this out

It's great to see that face again! It's safe to say that Stu won't be back in the side for a while yet, he will need to regain match sharpness, which will probably involve playing with the reserves. However, he has approached his recovery methodically, one step at a time, and this is certainly a big step on the way back to the pitch.
