The move is on, folks. This is happening and it looks like Bolton Wanderers have their new manager. Reports out of London today say that Dougie Freedman has left Crystal Palace FC after signing a managerial contract with Bolton Wanderers. As we reported earlier, he will not be in charge of Crystal Palace as they face Barnsley tonight.
According to the Croydon Guardian:
An official source inside Selhurst Park revealed that Freedman signed forms with the Championship rivals this afternoon (Tuesday) after being given permission to talk to the club yesterday.
Lennie Lawrence and Curtis Fleming will take charge of Crystal Palace in tonight's match.
The biggest question left for Bolton Wanderers at the moment seems to be what will happen to the likes of Sammy Lee, Jimmy Phillips, and Julian Darby. We sincerely hope that they are kept on the staff and serve as assistants to Freedman in order to continue winning ways for Bolton Wanderers.
