Now that Dougie Freedman has officially been confirmed as the manager of Bolton Wanderers, a few questions have yet to be answered:
- What happens to Jimmy Phillips, Sammy Lee, and Julian Darby? Will they continue with the first team or move back to the academy?
- Will Freedman's assistants at Crystal Palace, Lennie Lawrence and Curtis Fleming, make their way to the Reebok Stadium?
"It's fair to say that is probably what Dougie wants and I think we've got to look at it. I know Lennie is just an unbelievably professional bloke that will do a great job for us, up to the point he goes."
At the moment, it appears that nothing has been agreed with the two clubs in this matter. However, Bolton will certainly want someone with Lawrence's managerial experience to help out the young Dougie Freedman. According to Bolton News reporter Marc Iles, Freedman will have to wait though:
JP&Co due to be in charge of #bwfc Sat - Freedman watching. No definite answers on backroom yet. Lawrence/Fleming in charge of #cpfc on Sat.
