Bolton Wanderers have a pretty huge squad, that's no secret. The end of the loan window for Football League clubs is also fast approaching and Bolton Wanderers will more-likely-than-not use that opportunity to thin the ranks in order to get some of the youngsters actual competitive match time. A couple of deals are already rumored to be done and there could well be a few more in the works.
Michael O'Halloran, who never really looks like he'll be participating in the first team this season, is set to go out on loan once more it seems. The Scotland U-21 international had already spent a very short stint away from the Reebok with Carlisle United, but as you may remember, he cut it short and came back to Bolton after just 12 days away. The rumor-du-jour is that he'll be spending some time at League One side Tranmere Rovers (currently 12th in the table).
Gregg Wylde, the former Rangers winger picked up after his contract was cancelled following the club's liquidation and reformation, has yet to even make the bench for Bolton Wanderers. The winger is now pretty low in the pecking order behind Chris Eagles and Martin Petrov, among others. He looks like he'll go on loan to Bury FC, currently 14th place in the League One table.
A few other names are being thrown around as well including Joe Riley, Marvin Sordell, and Adam Blakeman. Riley was rumored to go to Swindon Town on loan but those hopes were quickly dashed when manager Paolo Di Canio publicly said he had no clue who Riley was.
Of course, at this point it is all just speculation. As soon as anything becomes official, you will be the first to know.
