Poor defending leads to nightmare start for Bolton Wanderers

Bolton have had a few dream starts this season, goals in the first five minutes and the like. Today would not be one of them as Bolton Wanderers concede twice in the first five minutes and now have a massive mountain to climb.

The first goal came on just two minutes from midfielder Lee Tomlin. A long cross-field ball was misjudged by Zat Knight. What looked a simple interception soon became far from that as it skipped off the wet turf at London Road. The ball put Lee Tomlin calmly in on goal and he draw Adam Bogdan out for a one-on-one opportunity before curling it home to the far post.

The second came only three minutes later after a bit of ping-pong ball in the Bolton area. The deep cross from Tommy Rowe bounced around before Dwight Gayle looped a volley over Adam Bogdan from all of six yards out. With ten minutes gone, it's all Peterborough. Bolton have not yet challenged Robert Olejnik's goal.
