Another Crystal Palace man to move north to the Reebok

Dougie Freedman is slowly building his Bolton Wanderers backroom staff. We told you about the goalkeeping change that was destined to happen and that looks like it should be confirmed at any point. The next move for Freedman's team is on the development side with Jamie Fullarton now making the move north to the Reebok Stadium.

According to the Bolton News, Fullarton was offered and has accepted a position with the Trotters to take over as Bolton's U21 Development Coach. At Crystal Pallace, Fullarton was the Senior Professional Development Coach/Reserve Team Coach. What this means for the current setup is that current Development Coach John Henry could very well be on his way out of the Reebok Stadium.

The move is not particularly surprising as Bolton's U21 side is rock bottom of their group, having won only one of 13 matches and sitting on seven points with match to go. They are nine points behind seventh-place Norwich City.

John Henry came to the Reebok in 2010, shortly after Owen Coyle's arrival at the club. He served as part of Coyle's staff at Burnley, having moved there only the year before from Partick Thistle in Scotland.

The new role for Fullarton will see him working with both the U21s and U18s in hopes of preparing them for the first team for years to come. Fullarton will also manage the U21s (reserves).
