Over the course of this season, Bolton Wanderers have become a younger and younger team. With the likes of Joe Riley, Michael O'Halloran, Jay Lynch, and Rob Lainton breaking into the matchday 18, we've got some promising talent waiting on the wings. The Trotters' front office has done a good job in making sure that talent stays at the Reebok in the last few weeks by extending the contracts of Jack Sampson, Josh Vela, and today Joe Riley and Michael O'Halloran.
Riley and O'Halloran have seen their contracts extended by three and a half years each to keep them at the Reebok for the foreseeable future. Riley is 20 years old and has already made three Premier League appearances this season as well as a further four in cup competitions. O'Hallaran, a forward, hasn't played as prominent of a role yet but he has had two relatively short run outs against Macclesfield, one each in the Carling and FA Cups.
It's a good job getting those two signed up. Now, how about the club gets Chungy's contract extended past 2013?
