In their last eight matches, Bolton have lost a grand total of ONE, and that was to Manchester United. Having picked up four points in the league from a home win against Liverpool and a midweek home draw to Arsenal, the Trotters are flying high. The team is playing well and on their best form of the season. Norwich lost to Sunderland during the week and are looking to find their way back into the points.
Bolton are once again dealing with injury troubles as Gretar Steinsson, who has been playing well lately, is out for the match while he nurses a strain. Young Joe Riley is likely to once again feature on the right side while Sam Ricketts should hold steady at left back. Owen Coyle has also hinted that new signings Marvin Sordell and Ryo Miyaichi could make an appearance. New center back Tim Ream won't be back in England in time to be ready for the match so he will not make the 18.
Norwich City are without new signing Jonny Howson who is dealing with a new issue while Marc Tierney's groin has him sitting on the sidelines once again. It was Marc Tierney that went down relatively easy to see Ivan Klasnic get a straight red card when the two sides met at the Reebok in September.
Mark Davies is enjoying a prolific spell in center midfield this season, having completed 90.4% of his attempted passes. It's also been the midfield that has scored all of Bolton's last six goals. Marvin Sordell will look to change that if he does come on.
Bolton are just one point back of Queens Park Rangers and six behind West Bromwich Albion who currently sit in 15th place.
