It's tough saying goodbye to Ricardo Gardner, also known as Bibi. The Bolton Wanderers legend was at the club for 14 years and certainly made his mark on some very important games. Except for Jussi Jaaskelainen, Bibi was Bolton's last remaining link to the second division and the last time Bolton Wanderers fought for promotion to the Premier League. The Reggae Boy made a total of 409 BWFC appearances after his transfer from Harbour View in 1998.
The fans will have one last chance to see Ricardo Gardner in a Bolton Wanderers shirt as he is set to get a testimonial, confirmed on his Twitter account. No word yet on when or who the opponent will be but you'll know as soon as we do.
Until then, you can read the excellent write up on Bibi from the Bolton News and reminisce about his goal that put Bolton Wanderers ahead at the Allianz Arena.
