David Wheater Out For Nine Months

When it rains, it pours. As if all of the terrible luck this season wasn't awful enough, Bolton Wanderers have been dealt even more horrible news. David Wheater is out for nine months after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee against West Bromwich Albion.

Wheater went down awkwardly right before halftime against WBA and was substituted at the half for Zat Knight. More bad luck to an already awful season.

Zat Knight will likely come back to the CB position against Stoke on survival sunday. We wish Wheater a quick-as-possible recovery.
