Bolton Wanderers let aging and often slow right back Gretar Steinsson go at the end of the season. The club cleared a lot of bulk and dead weight in order to prepare a leaner, younger squad for life in the Championship. Many of the players that Bolton cut have not yet found new clubs including Nigel Reo-Coker, Ivan Klasnic, Paul Robinson, and so on. You can now cross Gretar Steinsson off that list as he has signed for Turkish side Kayserispor.

Steinsson signed a two year deal with the club who finished 11th in Turkey's Süper Lig last season. The Iceland international spent 4.5 years at Bolton after being signed in January, 2008 by Gary Megson. He made over 120 appearances for the whites, scoring five goals. Best of luck in Turkey, Gretar.
