Josh Vela Will Miss Four Months With Ligament Damage

Knee injuries and Bolton Wanderers are far too good of acquaintances. Stuart Holden and David Wheater are already on the sidelines nursing theirs and now youngster Josh Vela will join them. The central midfielder lasted just four minutes in his first start before a tackle brought him down in pain. Now, the Trotters are saying that the midfielder will miss a whole four months (about a Boxing Day return date), having suffered lateral ligament damage in his left knee against Crawley Town.
