UPDATE: Bury Appoint New Manager, Not Sammy Lee or Phil Brown

We wrote this morning about the shortlist of managers that Bury had for their vacant position. The rumored names in the running were Sammy Lee, Phil Brown, Brian Laws, Nigel Worthington, and Sammy McIlroy. Well, it's a man not on the rumored list that's come out with the job and that man is Kevin Blackwell, the former Sheffield United manager.

With this news, Sammy Lee is staying on as the head of the Bolton Wanderers Academy while Phil Brown is still without a position.
