Marcos Alonso Has Picked Up A Knock, Could Be Ready For Saturday

The young, Spanish left back will have to work this week in order to be fit for Bolton's upcoming home match against Crystal Palace.

Apparently, in last weekend's 2-1 win away to Sheffield Wednesday, Marcos Alonso had picked up a relatively small injury. The effects of said injury (there were no further details given) had kept the left back out of training for the last couple of days. Owen Coyle has said that he hopes that Alonso (and the rest of the squad that beat Watford and Wednesday) will be available for this weekend's match against Crystal Palace at the Reebok.

Should there be any concerns about Alonso's health, expect Owen Coyle to stay on the safe side and give Stephen Warnock his Bolton wanderers debute. We wrote about Warnock earlier today and from the sound of things, the man on loan from Aston Villa is raring to go.
