Bolton were looking the better side for so much of the second half but could not do anything with their possession. Every Bolton chance was pretty much right at the Palace goalkeeper, Speroni. It took another Wilfred Zaha run to finally put Crystal Palace ahead.
The pacy forward broke past the Bolton Wanderers defense and it was Zat Knight who was left to mark him. A clumsy challenge from the big defender brought Zaha down in the box (but there was a lot of debate over whether it was a dive). The penalty was the third that Bolton have allowed this season, with the opposition getting one in each of the last three games. Glenn Murray stood over the ball on the penalty spot and put it home well, past Adam Bogdan. The goal was Murray's fourth in the last two games.
Marvin Sordell came on in the 76th minute but has only had minimal time on the ball. Bolton are losing 1-0 late on.
