Bolton Wanderers International Results

Here we are at the mid-point of the international break, the good news is Bolton have not conceded any goals. There haven't been any matches, but with our defending, you never know. Some of our players have been in action though. Here is a quick look at the results for each player on international duty:

Samuel Ricketts: Wales lost 2-0 and had a defender sent off. Sam Ricketts was an unused sub. This was Wales third consecutive 2-0 defeat, and they lost 1-0 in the match before that. The fact that Ricketts can't get into the Welsh side says a lot about the Bolton defense.

Adam Bogdan: Hungary beat Andorra 5-0, Bogdan made 1 save, but he really had little to do. The side is tied with the Netherlands atop the group. They are unlikely to qualify for the World Cup, but seem to be playing relatively well.

Chung-Yong Lee: South Korea have a World Cup Qualifier against Uzbekistan on Tuesday. It is unknown whether Lee will feature.

Gregg Wylde: He is with the under-21 side, but has not featured. They play Austria tomorrow.

Marvin Sordell: Sordell started the England under-21's match against Azerbaijan last week, and will probably start again versus Norway on Monday.

The rest of the squad is hard at work back in Bolton, undoubtedly perfecting their bewildered stares as opposing players put open headers into the back of the net. Supporters, enjoy this week of solitude, pretty soon we will have to watch Wanderers play again...
