Halftime: Penalties at both ends leave it level

A nightmare start for Bolton Wanderers gave fans reason to worry with Millwall winning a penalty in the 9th minute. Tim Ream gave the ball away and allowed Andy Keogh to run at Zat Knight. The Millwall forward tried to turn the big man but his quick feet left Knight guessing and the defender took Keogh's standing leg out from under him. The man who won the penalty stepped up to take and chipped it past Adam Bogdan.

Bolton were given their own penalty rebuke 25 minutes later after former Bolton man Danny Shittu brought Chung-Yong Lee down in the box. Keith Andrews stepped up to the spot and drove the penalty kick low and past goalkeeper David Forde. That was Andrews' fourth goal of the season with all four of them coming from the spot.

Bolton are now joint-top in most penalties conceded in this division with nine so far this season, bringing them level with Peterborough United. However, they are joint-third in penalties awarded, tied with Leeds United, Bristol City, and Huddersfield Town on seven.
