Jacob Butterfield joins Crystal Palace, could face Bolton on Saturday

Jacob Butterfield, who spent just over a month-and-a-half on loan with Bolton Wanderers, has just announced that he is joining London side Crystal Palace on loan. Never mind all of Bolton's recent connections with Palace, this move is extremely interesting because his first game could very well be the Eagles' clash with Bolton Wanderers at Selhurst Park this weekend.

Butterfield was named in the Bolton team 11 times during his loan stint and started four matches. He was eventually allowed to return parent club Norwich City after being unsatisfied with the amount of game time he was saying. This move led to Dougie Freedman going on about he wanted players that need to "want to stay here." Butterfield returned to the Canaries and saw a few minutes in their FA Cup third round match with Peterborough United.
