In terms of goals, there wasn't much to see between Bolton Wanderers and Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Both teams were held scoreless. For Bolton, the story was really one of solid defense at one end and misplaced efforts at the other.
The Trotters came close on a number of occasions, especially through Chris Eagles, Darren Pratley, and Marcos Alonso. At the other end Crystal Palace certainly managed to get a few off with Bolton's blushes saved by the post on one occasion and the linesman's flags on another. Wilfred Zaha and Yannick Bolasie managed to test the Bolton defense and the latter did test Adam Bogdan on more than one occasion. Thankfully, Glenn Murray's tapped in effort from Bogdan's spilled save was flagged offside.
When the final whistle blew, Bolton left Selhurst Park with a well deserved point.
