At Dougie Freedman and Bolton Wanderers' prematch press conference ahead of this weekend's tie with Watford, the manager fielded a number of questions on Bolton's deadline day dealings. Many of the questions were about Medo, the former Partizan defensive midfielder that is at the Reebok finalizing things today.
Marc Iles of the Bolton News was present at the presser and updated the fans on what the word was regarding the progress on Medo's signature. According to Dougie Freedman, the deal is "very close" to completion. Dougie also added that it would be an "absolute steal" to land a player of his quality. Medo was sensationally linked in a huge money move with Tottenham last summer.
According to the Bolton News, in order for the deal to be completed, both parties need to dot their i's, cross their t's, and get international clearance for the move to go ahead.
We'll keep you posted just as we have done all day.
