We're really just waiting for this thing to be wrapped up now. The speculation has been going strong for a few days now with everyone chipping in their thoughts except the all-important Bolton Wanderers.
This is what we know so far:
- Bolton Wanderers are very interested in £300,000 striker Craig Davies of Barnsley.
- Craig Davies was not named in Barnsley's side as they took on Burnley in the FA Cup last weekend.
- Bolton have bid for the striker and their bid has been accepted.
How do we know that last bit? Well, it's been confirmed by Barnsley's director, Don Rowing. Speaking to Press Association Sport (by way of Sky Sports), Rowing has spelled out exactly what's going on:
"We have accepted a bid from Bolton for Craig. He has a release clause in his contract, which many players do these days, and they have met that, so now it's up to the player to agree everything with Bolton.
Barnsley also look to lose defender Scott Wiseman to Blackpool but that doesn't really concern us.
