Highlights of Blackpool 0-0 Bolton Wanderers

Jermaine Beckford: not playing like a man possessed.
Jermaine Beckford: not playing like a man possessed.

It was a very hard-fought point for Bolton Wanderers at Bloomfield Road with both the Trotters and the Tangerines having chances to take the full three points. Wanderers would recover well from a disappointing draw at the weekend to hold their own against a team currently occupying a spot just outside the playoff places. If you did not make the trip to Blackpool's ground, here are the highlights for you.

Bolton had plenty of opportunities to get a goal with Jermaine Beckford spurning a few glorious opportunities, which has unfortunately become par for the course with the striker. It is now ten matches that Bolton have gone without a win and with that figure comes the fact that they have also not yet seen a goal from a striker.

After allowing perhaps the most disappointing goal of his relatively young career at the weekend against Yeovil Town, Adam Bogdan rebounded with aplomb. The goalkeeper did very well to keep Blackpool's numerous attacking options out of the back of his net, making plenty of strong saves to keep Bolton Wanderers in it. On top of that, Bolton Wanderers kept their first away clean sheet since January of last season, which should see both the goalkeeper and the defense brimming with confidence after a strong performance.
