Bolton Wanderers, looking for what would be their second win of the season, take on AFC Bournemouth at Dean Court Stadium. The Trotters are coming off two straight home draws and five unbeaten overall. The Cherries are coming off two straight away matches, a draw and a loss. It'll be a tough one for the Whites.
Manager Dougie Freedman has faced demands from a large portion of the fan base to play a more attacking lineup, but he clearly has no faith in his back four, who concede goals even when they have three holding midfielders to protect them. I tend to side with Freedman. Until the defense is sorted, from tactics to communication to personnel, Bolton are not going to be able to put together a good string of results. It will be interesting to see how today's 4-4-2 (more or less) fares away from home.
