Dougie Freedman and Bolton Wanderers have today recalled Tom Eaves from his loan spell at Rotherham United.

He has returned to the Reebok Stadium a month ahead of schedule. In his time at Millmoor he made ten appearances, scoring once.

Bolton have experienced a run of form from their strikers of late, the improved play of David Ngog and the goals of Jermaine Beckford would likely have left Eaves on the bench anyway. Beckford has impressed with a run of five goals in six games including the winner away at Watford this past Saturday.

Perma-crock Craig Davies shows no signs of returning to full fitness either and so no doubt Eaves will become third choice for Dougie and the lads ahead of the busy Christmas period.

Wanderers face Middlesbrough away next Saturday, before welcoming Huddersfield and Doncaster in successive home games before the all-important away fixture against local shitbags Wigan Athletic.
