Manchester United messed up. It was fantastic. I don't know what I enjoyed more: their last minute capitulation against Cardiff City, or their subsequent attack at the other end which Wayne Rooney cocked up in a David Ngog-esque style.
Manchester City snuck past Spurs by six, with the league's best player, Sergio Aguero again on form. He was ably assisted by colleague Alvaro Negredo who showed Spurs' own Spaniard, Roberto Soldado, how to get involved with goals of his own.
The rest of the league weekend was much of a muchness. Chelsea won, Liverpool drew, Suarez was brilliant, Fulham lost (again) to Swansea and Aston Villa came back from 0-2 down to draw 2-2 with rivals West Bromwich Albion in the Monday night game.
In terms of our own league, Brian Lee of King Banter 2 still leads the way with 746pts - Gareth Entwistle of The Ultrasound Guys is in second place with 742pts. Tightly fought.
A mere 50 points separates the top two with the rest of the top ten. It's a really tight game at the moment and everyone is doing well. Everyone, that is, apart from the LOSERS at the bottom of the league. Mentioning no names (Daniel Speakman & Lion of Vienna Suite's own Mark Yesilevskiy), some of you need to buck your ideas up!
