Question Time: Huddersfield Town

Chris spoke with a real live Huddersfield Town Supporter. Here is what the man had to say.

Julian Finney

Wanderers are at home to Huddersfield Town this Tuesday in the Championship. We spoke with Wayne Lockwood ahead of the game.

Wayne, 36, lives in Halifax but is originally from Heckmondwike. He has been watching Huddersfield for 26 years through thick and thin from the good old days at Leeds Road and standing in the old Cow Shed to watching fourth division football after administration.

1) Describe Huddersfield's season so far:

Our season so far has been a bit up and down. We have taken points from teams we didn't last season but we have also lost to teams whom we beat as well. Main thing is we have been too inconsistent.

2) How has Mark Robins been since he arrived?

Mark Robins has been very good since he arrived. He had a difficult time at the end of last season and couldn't really put his stamp on the team with us being in a relegation dog fight, but he has us passing the ball about a lot more and we are also better defensively as well.

3) You have ex-Wanderer Danny Ward in your ranks, how has he done?

He hasn't done too bad to be honest just too inconsistent really. He will have a really good game and score a good goal but then the next game or 2 he will have a bad game. But he has the talent to be a top player really.

4) How do you see the rest of the season panning out?

With the rest of the season, if we can keep on picking up points like we have been doing I can see us being in mid table which would be good and not another heart stopping season with relegation threatening until the last game again.

5) Which Bolton player do you fear most ahead of Tuesday?

I would have to say Jermaine Beckford, as we know he can score goals out of nothing and he is very dangerous.

6) Do you have a score prediction?

Well, this could be a tough one. Here I would like to say Huddersfield to win 2-0 going with my heart, but if I go with my head I would say 1-1 or a draw of some kind.

We'd like to thank Wayne for taking the time to speak to LoVS, you can find him over on Twitter @ginner_30.
