Mark Davies to start against Wigan?

The (daft) booking incurred by Darren Pratley, combined with the mediocre form of both Jay Spearing and Medo Kamara has left Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman with a tough call to make ahead of this weekend's MASSIVE game against local minnows Dave Whelan FC.

Therefore it has come as a great surprise to all to read that Mark Davies, creative force and sunbed enthusiast is in line for a return to the starting XI this weekend, his first since suffering that terrible knee injury in February 2013, just days after signing an improved four year contract with the club.

Bolton manager Freedman said:

It would be a great boost to the club and supporters to see Davies return to the side for the game.
