Jay Spearing was forced to leave the match with an injury. Just before the halftime break, the on-loan midfielder hobbled off with an apparent foot injury and he was swiftly replaced by Medo Kamara for the remaining 45+ minutes.

The supporters won't soon forget Bolton's league in mid-February. Prior to the Burnley match at home (the start oft he run that takes us to where we are now), Bolton sat in 20th place on 34 points. 13 games and 29 points later, the Trotters are 6th.
