Kevin Davies' hunt for a new club continues. The Bolton Wanderers legend has not yet publicly stated a decision or intention about his future apart from the fact that his career is not yet over. Rumors continue to circulate about the big forward's future with League One side Preston North End emerging as potential suitors this morning.
The first hints came out from Preston North End reporter for the Lancashire Evening Post, Dave Seddon, this morning:
Spoken with PNE. It was a first meeting with Kevin Davies. Talks went well but no decisions made.

Then, a photo of Kevin Davies at the ground started making its rounds on Twitter:

The move could be a good one for Kevin Davies and Bolton fans alike as it would allow him to stay local while not playing in the same league as Bolton Wanderers. Davies had previously been linked with MLS side Toronto FC and and Championship side Sheffield Wednesday. There's no question that this is all very much in the early stages though and a decision could be a long way off.
Preston North End were very much midtable in League One last season, finishing in 14th place and having goals for and against totals matching that position.
