One of the major complaints for Bolton Wanderers fans abroad is the simple lack of access to live video of matches. Last season, the Trotters were only on TV twice (Nottingham Forest and Cardiff City at home). We already knew that the season opener against Burnley would be televised live and now we know what TV game number two will be. In the first month of the season, Bolton will have the same amount of TV games that they did all of last season.
The second match in question is the home tie against newly-relegate Queens Park Rangers. As such, that match has been pushed ahead to a bit earlier in the day. Originally, it was set to kick off at 3 PM local (10 AM EST) but will now get started at 12:15 PM local (7:15 AM EST). The match will still be played on Saturday, the 24th of August, barring any major changes that would force it to get rescheduled.
The match will be aired on Sky Sports in the UK. beIN sport holds the rights to the Championship in the United States.
Bolton Wanderers fans will relish the opportunity to play against QPR regardless of television appearances. A rivalry has developed between the two clubs after Rangers managed to stay up in the 2011/12 season at the expense of Wanderers.
