Busy Bolton Wanderers have just announced some news and confirmed another signing, adding Rob Hall to Alex Baptiste, who was confirmed earlier this morning. This news continues Dougie Freedman's Reebok revolution and is the fourth official signing of the summer, joining the aforementioned Baptiste, Hayden White, and Marc Tierney.
Rob Hall spent the last month of last season on loan with Bolton Wanderers. He only managed to make one appearance after dealing with injury issues suffered while on loan at Birmingham City earlier in the season. Hall spent four months on loan at Brum, making 13 appearances for the Blues and assisting seven goals in the process. It was during his Brum loan that Hall suffered groin issues before ultimately undergoing hernia surgery. It was that surgery that really hurt his time at Bolton.
Despite that, Dougie Freedman was obviously a fan of what he saw in Hall and elected to sign the out-of-contract youngster from West Ham. Due to his age, the two clubs needed to agree a fee and it looked like the case would be headed for a tribunal.
Hall has signed a three-year contract and adds much needed depth to Bolton's wings. He will wear the number 11 at Bolton.
