2013/14 Bolton Wanderers away kit details leak

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Bolton Wanderers have not made much noise yet about their away kit. We don't know what it will look like, which specific template adidas will use, or even a launch date. What we do have though are some clues about the new away kit as well as the change goalkeeper kit, leaked by the club's online shop itself. The webpage has leaked some details about the away socks and shorts for the outfield players and the goalkeeper.

According to the shop, the goalkeepers will wear yellow socks, as opposed to the green and black numbers on the home kits. Odds are that the change goalkeeper kit will use the same template as that of the home but that's far from decided just yet.

The more interesting information comes in the form of the away shorts and socks for the outfield players. The shorts will come in a color that adidas has dubbed "Infrared," which they use on the latest f50 adizero boot (seen above and what Medo is wearing in pre-season training). Infrared is a very sharp, well, red. The socks, also described on the website, are going to be navy and red. This perhaps indicates a navy shirt with red shorts and accents to match.

One of Lion of Vienna Suite's readers, Chris, noticed that the club shop had also listed the 1988 Normid away shirt, below, and could be using that design as inspiration.

Bolton Wanderers will surely release more information in the next few weeks with pre-season friendlies fast approaching.

A big thanks to Sam for the shout.
