According to 'Sky Sources' - which usually means the work experience lad keeping an eye on Twitter, Bolton Wanderers and Dougie Freedman have agreed to sign 16 year old Hungarian goalkeeper Erik Bukren on a two year development contract.
Bukren joins the club from famous Honved club of Budapest, and joins compatriots Adam Bogdan and former Ipswich Town and Manchester City goalkeeper Marton Fulop in moving to England to ply his trade.
It isn't known, at this stage, whether Bukren will command a fee to move to Bolton Wanderers, though no doubt any such fee will be heavily incentivised in terms of his progression.
Bukren now will go up against fellow Development Squad goalkeeper Jan Ole Sievers, with one eye to the future.
Bukren's coach, Daniel Illyes said:
"He's an enormous talent, there's no question of that"
We shall watch his career with interest. No news yet on whether Bukren has red hair.
Update: Bukren does not have red hair.
