Dougie Freedman continues to be linked with players at his former club and today Sky Sports has reported that Wanderers are one of a host of Championship clubs assessing the contract situation of former Wales International defender Danny Gabbidon.
Gabbidon joined Crystal Palace at the beginning of the 2012-2013 season after being released by Queens Park Rangers.
He has made 29 Appearances for the Eagles, 20 of which have come this season and is a prized fixture in manager Tony Pulis’ first team plans.
Gabbidon’s other previous clubs include West Ham, Cardiff City and West Bromwich Albion where he was a product of the midlands club youth system.
Since this was reported, Bolton News reporter Marc Iles has taken to twitter to quash the rumours:
Nothing in the Danny Gabbidon link that a few people have tweeted this morning/afternoon. #bwfc #cpfc

Bolton are certainly in the market for defensive players and we can expect many others to be linked with the Wanderers in the remaining 10 days in the transfer window.
It will certainly be interesting if Freedman can add in the area and I feel Wanderers season certainly depends on it.
