Transfer Gossip: Ngog-ing, Gog-ing, Gone!

Chris spent all week coming up with that headline. What a waste of time.

So the day we all expected has finally arrived.

Misfiring Bolton Wanderers striker David Ngog (the headline works if you keep the second 'g' silent, honest) has joined Premier League side Swansea City today for an undisclosed fee.

Ngog, 24, joined Wanderers from Liverpool in 2011 for £4m, but has spent the time since being generally underwhelming and a bit-too-nice.

His Bolton career reads 16 goals scored in 91 games since his arrival at the club, and though fans bear him no ill-will, most will not be particularly sorry to see him go(g).

As far as I can remember, I don't remember wishing bad luck on any departing player - apart from Alan Stubbs (traitor), but then I felt bad when he became ill.

Good luck Dave, I hope you fulfil your undoubted potential.
