Rumours abound this afternoon that Bolton Wanderers have loaned striker Craig Davies to near neighbours Preston North End, where he will link up with his twin brother Kevin Davies who himself left the Reebok in the Summer to move to PNE.
Personally speaking, I'm a bit bothered that someone who was a main target of manager Dougie Freedman one minute, and deemed surplus to requirements the next, is being allowed to leave when our striker options are at their weakest.
The signing of Lukas Jutkiewicz aside, I can only imagine that Dougie is trying to tie up another loan deal for Joe Mason, who in eight appearances for Wanderers appeared to be as dangerous as Twilight Sparkle, whom you may know as the nicest My Little Pony.
Anyway, frustration and disbelief aside, we all wish Craig Davies well at his new club. He might not have been the best footballer we've ever had but his effort was undoubted.
The transfer deadline ends at 11pm tomorrow evening, who know what fun and games await for Bolton Wanderers and their long-suffering fans.
