Celtic Boss Says No to Kris Commons Bolton Move

Wanderers had been linked with a move - it might not be as easy as we thought.

Speaking to our mate Marc Iles at the BEN, new Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon played down his chances of signing Kris Commons.

Meanwhile, Lennon's replacement at Parkhead, Norwegian boss Ronny Deila has put the mockers on his predecessor and played down Wanderers' chances of doing the deal for the former Derby County and Nottingham Forest midfielder.

31 year old Mansfield born Commons is out of contract in the Summer, and online rumours have linked him with a move south to join Lennon at the Macron Stadium.

Commons has 12 caps for Scotland, scoring twice, and has turned his game into one borne of attacking nous and instinct yielding 53 goals in just 106 games.

Deila said:

"We have very good dialogue and the process is on-going with Kris' contract talks. So this doesn't frighten me.

He continued:

"We won't want to sell to anyone. We want to build a team here."
