Bolton Wanderers suffered horrendously at the weekend from an inexperienced referee who couldn't have been more out of his depth if he had tried.
Referee Mark Heywood went into the game with an average of 3.2 yellow cards per match - but he certainly improved on that statistic, dishing out six ridiculous yellow cards, to Brentford's zero.
Shades of Barry Knight eh?
The 'culprits' included defender Dorian Dervite, midfielders Neil Danns, Lee Chung-Yong and Jay Spearing, and striking duo Jermaine Beckford and Craig Davies Jay Spearing.
In a shocking display of inconsistency, referee Heywood showed a frankly worrying lack of control, and his inexperience will land Wanderers with a £25,000 fine for their efforts.
Bizarre and wrong, on many levels.
