Norwich City v Bolton Wanderers: Lineup predictions

New, comments

Wanderers travel to Carrow Road for a Halloween Night encounter with Norwich City.

Bolton Wanderers will be playing a day early this week under the bright lights of Sky Sports.  The world is anxious to get a first look at new manager Neil Lennon and his suddenly in-form side.

Norwich City Bolton Wanderers

Record:6-5-3

Goal difference: +10

Points: 23

Place: 6th

Record: 3-2-9

Goal Difference: -11

Points: 11

Place: 22nd

As you can see above, Norwich are in much better shape than the boys from Lancashire, but the Canaries have a lot of injury worries going into Friday night's match.  Bolton are on the other end of that spectrum, for once.  David Wheater, Liam Trotter, and Medo Kamara all played for the under-21's on Monday night, and are very close to returning to first team action.  Mark Davies may be ready to play 90 minutes, or close to it, as well.  So here is my prediction for Neil Lennon's starting XI:

Andy Lonergan

Kevin McNaughton Matt Mills Dorian Dervite Tim Ream

Neil Danns Mark Davies Jay Spearing Chung-Yong Lee Darren Pratley

Craig Davies

I think Lennon will support that group with a very attacking bench, and the likes of Max Clayton and Rob Hall could see some action in the second half.  What do you think?  Let's see your starting XI in the comments below!
